Site Engineer -Wexford

My client is a a young ambitious house building company looking for an energetic applicant to grow with us.

The candidate must have an interest in civil works, engineering, setting out, interpretation of construction drawings on site for layouts and supporting the Site Manager with day to day running of the project.

In office responsibilities will include dealing with all utilities incl. Irish Water, applications to same, liaising with Architects, Consulting Engineers and sub-contractors while also assisting the MD in the daily tasks associated with residential development.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE :

• Setting out using total stations and GPS equipment.
• Reporting to the Project Manager and MD on all aspects of engineering to do with the project.
• Develop skills and progress towards a Project Manager role.
• Liaising with Irish Water in office and on site.
• Assisting the MD and Site Manager.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

• Diploma in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Similar
• Must have strong Residential experience 
• Knowledge of Construction Techniques and competency in all aspects of setting out.
• Strong IT skills, Interpersonal skills and Communication skills.
