The Opportunity

An established main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team delivering a major education project in Rathcoole, South Dublin. The project involves the construction of a new facility on an existing school campus, with a value of approximately €15 million. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a high-quality project from delivery through to completion, working with a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of upcoming work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project from commencement to completion.
  • Manage all aspects of construction delivery, ensuring the project is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • Manage project programme, resources, procurement and commercial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage risks, resolving issues efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive a positive culture of collaboration, quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale building projects.
  • Strong main contractor background.
  • Experience managing projects within education, commercial, healthcare, residential or similar sectors.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver complex projects successfully.
