Project Manager – Solar Farm Project

Location: Co. Laois
Salary: €90,000 – €110,000 + Excellent Benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major solar farm project in Co. Laois with one of Ireland's most respected main contractors.

This role would also suit an ambitious Senior Engineer with a strong civil engineering background who is ready to take the next step into project management. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-profile renewable energy project from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the project from commencement through to completion.

• Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project objectives.

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

• Oversee project planning, scheduling and resource allocation.

• Liaise with the client, consultants and all key project stakeholders.

• Monitor project costs, programme and commercial performance.

• Maintain the highest standards of health & safety, environmental compliance and quality.

• Mentor and support the site engineering and management team.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Strong civil engineering background with experience delivering infrastructure, energy or heavy civil engineering projects.

• Previous experience as a Project Manager, or a strong Senior Engineer looking to progress into a Project Management role.

• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and project planning experience.

• Full driving licence.
