POSITION - Warehouse and Logistic Supervisor - Outfitting

OBJECTIVE

Establish the warehouse and logistics system for Outfitting materials with predefined minimum and maximum quantities and tracking of re-used material and equipment. Prevent shortage of materials to avoid stoppage of production activities. Maximize storage areas, including Survey and Marine operations materials/equipment, especially long lead items. Cost-effective in every aspect of operations. Use of several storage and deliveries areas.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in Warehouse and Logistics
  • Preferred 3 to 5 years Accepted 1 to 3 years

KEY ACTIVITIES / RESULTS AREAS

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

DURING PREPARATION STAGE

Prepare the follow-up of each material needed, and the follow up of the rused materials and equipments (Bulkheads, Ballast tanks, etc.) Liaise with Plant Department for the booking of equipment in accordance with the delivery schedule with the correct cost centre for each activity. Prepare storage areas according to delivery schedule Load and unload the internal and external deliveries with the assistance of various equipment. Receiving of all Outfitting deliveries, local and international

PROGRAM

Coordinate and prepare 3-month look ahead delivery schedule. Updating the Excel spreadsheet for all materials whether incoming, outgoing, internal, and/or needed maintenance for any equipment or materials. Inventory on a semi-annual and annual basis. Plan the re-use of Marine-Outfitting Materials by recording where materials are located and recording the number of times some material and structure has been used

FLC OWN WORKS MANAGEMENT

Plan the delivery and usage of materials with Outfitting Engineers. Plan the mobilisation and demobilisation of resources:

  • Personnel
  • Equipment

Housekeeping on all storage areas as-needed. Storage of materials in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Floor plan for all storage areas.

SUBCONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT

HEALTH & SAFETY & WORKS ENVIRONMENT

Give the pre-task briefing Follow-up of action plans Elaboration of risks assessments Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of vehicles Responsible for keeping the storage areas and warehouse clean & safe

REPORTING

Report the monthly progress on:

  • Storage area status and availability
  • Deliveries local and international

QUALITY

Collect and control documentation including photos for all delivered Outfitting materials for quality records and inspections.

ENVIRONMENT

Control that environmental protection measures are correctly implemented

RELATIONS

HIERARCHICAL - Deputy Works Manager – Line Manager

FUNCTIONAL - Possibility to grow internally in the organisation.

LOGISTIC / PRACTICAL

STARTING DATE - 01-09-2021

DURATION - 3 to 4 years/5 days a week
