Our client is a very successful global main contractor who specialises in the high-end residential and 5-star market in London and the Home Counties.

They are currently recruiting for an HR Manager to be based in their office in Kensington. Previous experience in the Construction Industry Scheme is essential. 

The HR manager is responsible for day-to-day HR management matters, proactively working with the senior leadership team and their teams to meet their individual people needs including but not limited to training, development, succession planning, engagement, and performance management. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with members of the senior leadership team and other relevant on and off-project stakeholders.
  • Provide generalist operational HR support on all people matters, building line manager capability in the process, alongside parent company HR/ Resourcing colleagues as necessary, including but not limited to appraisals, succession planning, talent management, competency mana,gement and training & development.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc management information reporting and analytics including absence management, working hours, resourcing, and attrition data, working closely with the senior team to make reports relevant.

Qualifications, Certifications, and Experience required

  • Proven years of relevant HR experience working as HR Business Partner/ HR Manager in a Construction environment Experience of operating in large project/program organizations
  • Degree or qualification in HR management or similar; ideally CIPD qualified
