Operations Manager / Structural Steel / Business Development

Our client require an experienced Operations Manager for the Structural Steel division of their business. This role would suit someone with strong Business Development capabilities.

The role:

• You will support the tender process for new opportunities and maintain and develop existing client and supply chain relationships throughout the UK and Ireland
• Acting as the subject matter expert on this topic you will be our go-to person for all matters related to Structural Steel
• You will be responsible for the successful execution of all operational activities, projects and contracts relating to the Structural Steel business, overseeing delivery within scheduled timelines and budget
• Whilst ensuring the ongoing emphasis on SHESQ requirements, employee safety and customer satisfaction are adhered to at all times
  Previous experience:
  
  Knowledge of Structrual Steel
  Able to evidence the management of Structural Steel projects from inception to post-delivery
  Has experience of successful direct delivery
  Has experience of managing client relationships and securing new work
  Significant experience in Engineering, Structural Steel and associated works
