Health & Safety Officer | Dublin (Building/Civil/Aviation)

For major multi-year aviation capital program with leading international ‘client-side’ project management consultancy for the framework delivery of several projects over the next 3 to 5 years including major building and civil engineering works.

Reporting to the EHS Lead & responsible for all safety procedures/documentation associated with construction & civil engineering activity across the airfield including air & landside building & heavy/light civil operations.

Recruiting for a high calibre Health and Safety Officer to manage Health and Safety on residential (housing and apartments) construction sites. You will be responsible for the implementation of the safety management system and report directly to the Health and Safety Manager.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce the implementation of Health & Safety Management System.
• Identify site specific hazards and ensure they are addressed in the site documentation.
• Ensure the site folders and statutory records are being maintained on site.
• Apply strict adherence to site rules by all contractors.
• Carry out H&S auditing on site and address non-conformances.
• Contribute to accident and incident investigation.

Prospects may include options to travel to major international projects (airport, metro, motorway, energy, water, mining) across the globe.
