Technical Project Manager (Engineering) - Surrey, England.
Our client specialises in the manufacture and supply of bespoke high-value capital equipment to the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Consumer and Food industry.
We have been retained to recruit a Technical Project Manager to work closely with the Customer Service Manager and 3 Co-ordinators. The role covers all technical aspects of after-sales service, from clarifying and resolving customer enquiries to managing major mechanical and software modification and upgrade projects.
The role is office based but will include regular visits to customer sites in UK and Ireland and to the parent company in Germany. Initial training would be provided in Germany.
We seek a self-motivated, personable and diligent individual with a "can do" attitude, to work independently and as part of the team.
A technical/ engineering background is required and experience in a similar role in a similar industry, ideally with Project Management experience.
Excellent organisational, planning, verbal, written and numerical skills are a prerequisite, as well as computer literacy.
A knowledge of German is an advantage.
