Job Description:

 

As the MEP Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for our residential project. You will collaborate with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of MEP systems, adherence to quality standards, and timely completion of the project.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Planning and Coordination:

 

  • Develop and implement MEP project plans, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the project.

 

Budget and Cost Control:

 

  • Monitor and manage the MEP budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Provide input during the estimation and bidding process for MEP components.

 

Quality Assurance:

 

  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of MEP systems.

 

Team Leadership:

 

  • Lead the MEP team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.

 

Communication:

 

  • Maintain open and effective communication with project stakeholders, keeping them informed of MEP progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on MEP status, challenges, and resolutions.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in MEP management for residential construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools for MEP project management.
