Role: GROUP DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION COMMISSIONING OPERATIONS LEAD

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

SOP development, Communication and Education:

  • Shall understand and familiarise themselves with the Group Commissioning Standard Operating Procedures [SOP’s].
  • Responsible for the Onboarding, Training and Maintenance of the Commissioning Digital Environment. Key communication related to the Commissioning Digital Environment shall be managed by the Group Digital Transformation Cx Operations Lead i.e. Coordination of Project / Site training sessions with the relevant business unit leads, information share and issues feedback process.

 CxDE Implementation [Autodesk BIM360 Field Classic/ACC]:

  • The Group Have developed a Commissioning Digital Environment [CxDE] using Autodesk BIM360 Field Classic. The Group Commissioning Support Manager shall take part in the final stages of testing of the CxDE prior to Pilot. Updates /edits and adjustments to logic /workflow to be discussed at the testing stage based on the experience of using such systems as GC and CxA to ensure that the company’s Project teams receive the best system and service to allow them to execute their Commissioning duties in a standard and productive way.
  • The Group Commissioning Support Manager shall work with a member of the Digital Transformation Cx Operations Lead to “Roll out” the CxDE to all Datacentre Divisions [HDC, DCI, DCBS, EDC and LE] as soon as final test Stage has completed, and the system is signed off by the Group Head of Commissioning.
  • Initially the “Roll out” of the CxDE shall involve selecting 1-2 new projects per Division. The Group Commissioning Support Manager and Digital Transformation Cx Operations Lead shall assist in the development of training and education material for the CxDE in addition to the following.
  • Hold “Onboarding” sessions onsite for each project adopting the CxDE. Virtual onboarding sessions can be carried out; however, site is preferred due to the practicality of engagement and functionality of the system. There are a large number of stakeholders that will need to be onboarded from all functions of the project.
  1. Workshops / Onboarding sessions can be held centrally on a project geographically close to others where feasible to get more project teams “Onboarded” as early as possible.
  2. All sessions shall be recorded for further share and reference to other groups within the business.
  3. “Micro-Recordings” are to be in place prior to the first “Pilot” of the CxDE on the first project that illustrate and narrate how to use the system by function. Group Digital Transformation to support this initiative. The “Micro-Recordings” shall be saved to “Insite” for Group level access and communicated to the group via Communications support.

 

Divisional / Business Unit / Project Level Auditing [ Cx KPI] & Client Cx Meetings

  • The Group Commissioning Support Manager and Digital Transformation Cx Operations Lead shall develop a Project level Audit (Cx KPIs) and conduct these at agreed timelines.
  • KPI PowerBi Dashboard to be developed and communicated to key stakeholders across the group.

 

 Meetings and Reporting

  • The Group Commissioning Support Manager and Digital Transformation Cx Operations Lead shall organise and host regular meetings with all Project & Group stakeholders

 

Travel

  • European travel is required to deliver of the preceding sectional deliverables.
  • All travel to be discussed and agreed with the line manager.

 

Essential Criteria for the Role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a Commissioning Management Position
  • Strong understanding of Commissioning Standards and Code of Practice such as ANSI/NETA, CIBSE, BSRIA, ASHRAE.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Project management skills are essential and qualification if preferred.
