Field Support Engineer ( Heating and Cooling)- Dublin

My client is looking for a highly technical Field Support Engineer for our heating and cooling products. You must have an analytical approach with the ability act fast.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a passion for investigating and resolving issues in a timely manner. If you have all the above for this role, we’d like to meet you.

Role Overview

As the Technical Field Support Engineer, you will provide on-site technical support to direct customers or end customers. After Call-Centres and Service Partners have intervened, this role is the next escalation level in the event of any technical problems. This role also provides expert technical support to the Sales Team.

 

As part of the Heating and Cooling Technical team, you will:

 

  • Provide on-site field support for our partners, direct customers, and end customers in the event of any technical problems.
  • Support product commissioning on site.
  • Support new customers during the first pre-commissioning visit on-site and guarantee correct system set up.
  • Provide central technical support for the service-partner-network and end customers in the respective region and/or area.
  • Identify technical issues and develop solutions as the first level of escalation after the call centre and service-partners have been involved.
  • Train and support new installers on site

 

The Candidate

  • A FETAC Level 6 qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Experience in the heating and cooling field, such as hydraulics, laws, Psychometrics, etc.
  • Very strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient understanding in processes, technologies, products or other relevant field of expertise
  • Ability to apply technical data knowledge to provide a good analysis to achieve significant results and support respective management decision
  • Understands impact of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business or function
