One of Irelands well respected Developers are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to lead a large residential construction project in Malahide, Co. Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, including planning, coordination, and day-to-day site operations.

This role involves overseeing subcontractors, maintaining programme and quality standards, and ensuring full compliance with safety and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of construction activities from start to finish, including site preparation, progress tracking, and quality control.
  • Organise work schedules and delegate tasks to the site team.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers to meet project objectives.
  • Design and implement the construction programme to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement effective solutions.
  • Prepare site reports and maintain updated drawings and design documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and procurement of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Maintain strong communication across teams throughout all project stages, including key handover.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and final project documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ proven experience in residential house building projects in Ireland.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent understanding of health & safety and quality management.
  • Full, clean driver’s licence.
