Job Title: Site Agent

 

Role:

 

This is a Joint Venture between 2 of Ireland's leading building & civil engineering contractors and leaders in worldwide aviation and airport infrastructure development projects. This is an airport airside and landside civil engineering framework worth over €325 million.

 

As a Site Agent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. You will be the on-site leader, coordinating various teams, subcontractors, and resources to deliver successful outcomes. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Project Management: Take charge of project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, to achieve project objectives while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and quality checks.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and resources, making necessary adjustments to stay within budget constraints.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
  • Client Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, addressing their concerns and providing regular project updates.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction, proposing effective solutions.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to optimize project productivity.

 

Requirements:                                                         

 

Education:

 

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Relevant certifications in project management or construction (e.g., PMP, CCM) can be an asset.

 

Experience:

 

A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a track record of successful project delivery.

Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role on construction sites.

Familiarity with construction software and tools for project scheduling and management.
