Senior Engineer | Kilkenny | Main Contractor

€65-€85k per annum (DOE)

Fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious main contractor and work with like-minded people on award winning multi-million-euro projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review the design in detail for buildability and generate a schedule of issues for each stage of construction.
• Ensure, by agreement with the project manager, that the project has the required engineering and technical resource to fulfil all engineering duties.
• Liaise with the design team to ensure the construction team has all the required information to construct the Works.
• Be fully aware of the Program of the project. (Design, Procurement, Lead-in and Construction).
• Take responsibility for dimensional control from ensuring the project has the required primary control information to the site engineering team providing any required setting out for the Works. 
• Submit all technical submissions
• Ensure all contractors comply with the required quality control on site.
• Ensure the design is coordinated to allow for all building services as coordinated.
• Manage the performance of all employees assigned to you in accordance with legislation and company procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Relevant Engineering Degree
• Must have an ability to work within a dynamic team of professionals
• Must have an ability to perform multiple tasks at a high level of quality
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience with a Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK
• Motivated individual that likes to work in a fast-moving environment
