Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate) – Sidcup

Role Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of various projects, ensuring cost control and value optimisation throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project costs from initial estimates to final account settlement

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities

• Assess subcontractor and supplier payments and variations

• Monitor project budgets and provide accurate financial reporting

• Support the commercial team in negotiations and procurement processes

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in demolition and/or civil engineering

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
