Project Quantity Surveyor | Co. Carlow 

Our client are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic and diligent Project Quantity Surveyor with 10 years+ work experience to join their experienced team. The candidate will ideally have experience working on Public & Private Sector Projects, functioning within a quantity surveying department and with a good understanding of the difference between cost and value.

Requirements of the QS are as follows: 

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
• Have at least 10 years’ experience
• Experience working towards tight deadlines and budgets, dealing with interim payments and accounts
• Good client relationship skills

Desired Skills and Attributes: 

• Excellent IT skills, in particular advanced Excel with a keen interest to develop further skills
• Knowledge of Buildsoft or equivalent all desirable and advantageous
• Good communicator and analytical capabilities
• Willingness to show initiative and drive in addition to being a team player
• Well-presented and professional with a flexible approach to work
