Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner or Planner to work on a major construction project in the Essex/Cambridgeshire area.
Overview: To develop, manage and maintain project schedules and associated breakdown structures for effective project planning and progress monitoring, including the development and application of planning best practice to ensure consistency in schedule definition and development, and delivery of integrated portfolio, programme and project plans.
You will work closely with Cost Managers to integrate time and cost through cost and resource loaded schedules, plus work with Risk Managers and project teams to identify and drive down risk to agreed plans, ensuring that potential conflicts are understood and make sound proposals to mitigate each risk.
The ideal candidate will hold a 3rd level qualification within construction/engineering and have extensive major project work experience (£100m plus) with either a main contractor or construction consultancy. You will be advanced user of construction planning software (Primavera, MS Project or Asta etc.).
