About the Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Safety Advisor to join a leading construction contractor working on a project in South Dublin. This is a fantastic role for a motivated individual looking to develop their career in construction health and safety within a supportive and professional environment.
The successful candidate will assist the site team in implementing and maintaining the highest safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager and Safety Officer in promoting a culture of safety on-site.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the company’s health and safety policies.
- Conduct site safety inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Deliver toolbox talks and provide guidance to site personnel on safety best practices.
- Report and follow up on any safety incidents or near misses.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Health & Safety or a related field (Diploma or Degree preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in a construction safety role (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a dynamic site environment.
