CSA Project Director – Oslo, Norway

We are looking for a CSA Project Director to lead a major new build Data centre in Oslo, Norway for a global main contractor.

As the project lead, you will be directly accountable for all construction activities related to the project and be fully responsible for the overall project success.

You will organize, plan, motivate, coordinate and direct the construction effort ensuring all subcontractors on the field are managed accordingly. In this role, you will work closely with the Global CSA Director and other senior management within the project execution function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Director or Project Manager looking to make a step up.

The Role:

To ensure that all construction activities are executed safely and meet the company’s quality, cost and schedule expectations.
The management of all subcontractors and field staff on the project
To participate and provide construction input as needed during Front-End-Loading/Planning Stages of the companies Project Process. This includes providing contract strategy, constructability, schedule, and estimate input as needed.
To drive and manage the execution phase of multiple projects on the facility
To participate in the development of the Construction Contracting Strategy.
Responsibility for the development of the Construction Execution Plan.

Requirements :

Experience in large scale construction in the Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Biotech or Life Sciences sector
B.Sc. (or higher) degree in relevant Engineering or Construction Management
Relevant field experience in a construction management position required.
Lead Construction role in Projects greater than €30 M preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience associated with Project Management or Construction Management
Strong communication and leadership skills are required.
