Position: Contracts Manager

Our client are the innovators behind the industry-changing offsite volumetric build process that now serves the residential and commercial construction sector in Ireland. 

Our client is now seeking to recruit a Contracts Manager for the UK & Ireland.  

Location: UK & Ireland

Salary: Neg € D.O.E Terms

Principal Duties include but are not limited to:

Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant participants and ensuring technical feasibility

Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the execution of multiple projects

Lead and manage projects end-to-end, with full delivery responsibility, including resource management, commercials, profitability, and contractual compliance.

Operationally drive the delivery of the project utilising relevant Program & Project Management methodologies and principles, and leveraging your own experiences to ensure project execution on-time, within budget, and meeting or exceeding the expected level of quality.

Develop a detailed project programme for both plant and sites to monitor and track progress

Weekly analysis and reporting on plant and site programme status

Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, costs and performance using appropriate tools and techniques

Report and escalate issues to management as needed

Nurture relationships with client and all stakeholders

Perform risk management to minimise project risks

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation


 Who are we looking for?

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.

 A minimum of 7 years of experience in Construction Management.

 Experience in modular construction would be beneficial

 Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

 Ability to read, understand and create contractual requirements, scope objectives and report effectively.

 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.

 Excellent organisation and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

 Ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff and sub contractors.

 Should have the ability to work well in a team based environment
