Commercial Manager (Client-side) – Dublin - 95k to 125k

This is a new opportunity to work on a hospital project in Dublin. The Commercial Manager will work closely with the Commercial Director and the other members of the team, consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Commercial Director in overseeing of the two construction Contracts

Commercially lead and manage the project risk and opportunities register

Lead on commercial reporting

Provide commercial oversight of the medical equipment procurement work stream

Provide clear reporting mechanisms for the project budget, expenditure and cash flow

Manage the risk and opportunity management processes for the project, etc.

Qualification:

Be a Chartered Surveyor with Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, or commercial / contract management or other relevant discipline

Minimum 10+ years post graduate experience and minimum 4 years in a Commercial Manager’s role

Must have extensive knowledge of procurement, contract management and contract administration on major building construction projects (> €100m). Experience of healthcare construction projects would be an advantage

Has fulfilled the role of Commercial Manager on at least one major project or portfolio of projects
