Job Title: Assistant/Project Quantity Surveyor
Location: Surrey Quays
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant/Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our growing team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of our projects.
- Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
- Assess and evaluate contractor/subcontractor quotations and negotiate with suppliers.
- Perform site visits to assess progress and variations to contracts.
- Keep accurate records of variations, quantities, and other relevant information.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely monthly cost reports.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong focus on projects.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
