Our client is a leading Civil Engineering Main Contractor who operate throughout the UK and Ireland.

Following their recent success of winning a number of new projects they have a requirement for a Site/Setting out Engineer initially to be based in Carnoustie, Scotland.

As a Site/Setting Out Engineer you will be responsible for setting out all ground works, concrete bases, drainage and earthworks while ensuring health, safety and environmental requirements are adhered to.

You will plan the work and efficiently organise site operations in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines, supervise and monitor the site labour force and sub-contractors. Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise during the construction process.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in surveying, civil works, preparation of technical specifications and reports and in the planning, supervision and interpretation of Civil engineering Works. You will hold a degree in Civil Engineering/Surveying or related discipline.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Engineer who would like to progress to a Section and or Senior Engineer role within a progressive organisation.
