Senior Planner – Residential Construction

Salary - £100k + Benefits

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules/programs for residential construction projects.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
• Analyse project data to identify risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
• Provide planning and programming advice during the pre-construction, tendering, and construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deliverables.
• Utilize planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject) to produce accurate and detailed schedules.
• Report progress regularly to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 6-8 years in planning, ideally in residential construction.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, or similar.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methodologies and the residential sector.
• Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to anticipate and address project challenges.
• Qualifications: A relevant degree or professional qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
