Quantity Surveyor - Denmark

A very exciting high profile civil engineering project based in Denmark has just released several new vacancies, one of them is for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Design & Construction contractor part of a joint venture.

The role of the Quantity Surveyor is to monitor and prepare the valuation of claims and variation orders with a close collaboration of internal stakeholders (Claim Managers, Cost Controllers, Risks managers) to ensure all requirements of the owner, subcontractors, technical and commercial are captured.

The position offers an opportunity for you to make a positive impact on the business through your ability to efficiently support the Project Control team. You will report to the Project Control Manager.

Qualifications:
•Candidate is expected to have 5-7 years exposure to major construction or infrastructure projects in the construction industry, working for a major contractor and to have a basic technical knowledge.
•You have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills. You are not only great at analyzing costs, but also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome.
•Excellent written skills in English is requested. Oral communication skills in Danish is an advantage.
