About the Role

Be part of Ireland’s landmark metro & rail project! We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead the pre-construction phase, driving proposal, bid, design coordination, procurement strategy, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Your work will ensure the project is fully prepared for safe, on-time, and high-quality construction.

Key Responsibilities

• ✅ Lead pre-construction and tender activities, including design reviews and constructability planning
• ✅ Develop procurement strategies and engage early with subcontractors and suppliers
• ✅ Manage pre-construction schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
• ✅ Identify risks and implement mitigation plans through value engineering
• ✅ Coordinate with client, consultants, subcontractors, and statutory authorities
• ✅ Support governance, reporting, and HSEQ planning ahead of construction

Skills & Experience

• 🎓 Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• 🏗 Proven experience in pre-construction or tender management on large infrastructure or rail projects
• 👥 Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• 📜 Knowledge of Irish, UK or International infrastructure standards and statutory requirements is advantageous
• 🌟 Professional accreditation (Chartered Engineer, PMP, or equivalent) desirable
