Our client is a very well established planning and environmental consultancy since 2008, specialising in infrastructure, primarily renewable energy and wireless telecommunications.

They operate across Ireland and the UK and have a requirement for a Town Planner to be based out of thier office in Liverpool.

The role will involve managing a number of large scale renewable energy planning applications as well as overseeing the planning work of the in-house team, amongst many other tasks.

The successful candidate will have: 

Minimum of 7 years post-graduate private/public sector experience
A recognised planning qualification
Excellent working knowledge of the UK Planning system
Meticulous attention to detail and excellent report writing skills
Strong project management skills
Excellent presentation and communications skills
Experience in renewable energy
Good analytical skills and IT competency
Highly motivated and ambitious in fast paced working environment
Multi-task different projects and work activities
Work well with others internally and externally.
