Design Manager | Chiswick

As a Design Manager, you will be supporting the Design team, your role will be key to planned and sustained business growth through the production of client-focused bid proposals within theirr core markets. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Leading and owning the Design management process and working collaboratively within our pre-construction and operational teams
  • Coordinating and managing the production of high-quality design information from inception through to final submission, taking ownership of the process, design program, and documentation
  • Ensuring the management and production of all design information, whilst attending and hosting pre-tender and post-tender design team meetings.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years of total experience 
  • Minimum 5 years of industry-related experience 
  • Advanced Knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, policies, and procedures
  • Knowledge of UK regulations
  • Knowledge of design principles and local regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of material engineering properties and local/global availability of materials
  • Excellent technical skills and ability to organize and oversee the preparation of technical drawings
