Design Coordinator | North Dublin | Main Contractor

A well-established Construction Company based in North Dublin is seeking a creative and organized Design Coordinator to join their team. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and the construction team to ensure design vision and details are accurately executed throughout the construction process. You will coordinate all aspects of design, from initial concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and refining design concepts and plans in collaboration with clients, architects, and project managers
• Coordinate design selections, including materials, finishes, fixtures, and color schemes, ensuring alignment with client preferences and project specifications
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including schedules, drawings, and specifications
• Manage communication between clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate timely decision-making and ensure seamless project execution
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify design details, and resolve any design-related issues or changes
• Assist in creating and presenting design boards, sketches, and 3D renderings to clients and stakeholders
• Monitor project budgets related to design elements and make recommendations for value engineering when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of all design-related decisions, approvals, and changes

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a design coordination with a main contractor
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• A creative mindset with a passion for innovative and functional design
