Required for international contractor working on construction projects across Ireland and Europe in the Commercial, Pharma, cleanroom sectors.
  • Manage the BIM coordination of projects with a requirement to create 3D models using BIM authoring tools  
  • The BIM Technician will report to the BIM Manager and assist in the implementation of Digital Technologies in Ardmac 
Responsible for:  

  • Liaise with client representatives, project manager, site supervisors and with our own design team to bring clarity to the scope of deliverables

  • Assist with the preparation of tender proposals

  • Creation and Review of BIM Documents such as BIM Execution Plans, EIR

  • Lead Coordination Meetings between project stakeholders

  • Co-ordination of services using Navisworks 

  •  Model and Drawing management ensuring the latest information is available to all project stakeholders throughout the Common Data Environment

  • Development of Architectural/MEP Models in line with company requirements

  • Comply with Ardmac Design Procedures 

  • Assist with the internal training of all employees

  • Assist the BIM Manager with the introduction of new technologies

 Ability and knowledge of: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Building Information Modelling

  • Development of BIM Execution Plans

  • Production of Clash Reports

  • Revit and Navisworks experience essential

  • Experience with Dynamo & Power BI desirable but not essential
