Site Foreman | Wexford Town, Wexford €Negotiable As a Residential Site Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of residential construction projects. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and supervising on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, managing personnel, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project completion. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Coordinate and oversee all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed within schedule and budget constraints Supervision: Supervise construction activities, including but not limited to excavation, foundation work, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work, to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Personnel Management: Manage on-site personnel, including subcontractors, laborers, and other workers, ensuring they are adequately trained, motivated, and adhere to safety regulations and project timelines. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all workers and visitors. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any concerns promptly. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction work meets quality standards and specifications set forth by the project plans and regulations. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any defects or deficiencies. Materials Management: Coordinate the delivery and storage of construction materials, ensuring they are used efficiently and according to project requirements. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress, address any issues or concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process, utilizing problem-solving skills and sound judgment to keep the project on track. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all on-site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, safety inspections, and any changes or deviations from the original plans. Requirements: Previous experience in residential construction, with a strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and processes. Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site personnel. Deep knowledge of safety regulations and protocols, with a commitment to creating a safe work environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications. Physical stamina and the ability to work in outdoor environments and adverse weather conditions.
