Description
Prepare M&E project schedule for engineering, construction and commissioning activities.
• Plan and coordinate all on-site M&E activities to comply with applicable owner, Bird and government specifications, requirements and codes
• Perform progress reporting and execute change management process
• Supervise M&E coordinators
• Monitor and control project schedule, hours and cost as it relates to mechanical and electrical activities
• Ensure consistency and integrity of mechanical and electrical design throughout project
• Assist in development and implementing company and department procedures/work instructions of M&E systems where required
To be considered for this position:
• Minimum of 10 years practical experience, preferably in general contracting, with 5 years as a Lead Mechanical and/or Lead Electrical,
• Knowledge in the specifications, engineering, design, construction and start-up for mechanical and electrical systems.
• You have demonstrated ability to interact with other disciplines and fields of work as well as proficiency in the planning and control of work.
• In addition to a deep and thorough understanding of applicable M&E regulatory requirements and industry practices,
• Excellent project management and communication (oral and written) skills.
• Previous experience working for a subcontractor considered an asset.
