Engineering Manager Required

Our client is one of the leading infrastructure, building, and business services companies in Dubai with a turnover of nearly £500M which is expected to increase dramatically this year. It currently has a huge portfolio of construction work ranging from residential skyscrapers and shopping malls through to roads and aluminium smelters. This will continue to expand across the Middle East and North Africa, creating excellent career development opportunities for an ambitious engineering professional.

You will be a dynamic individual with a genuine interest in working in Dubai, to lead, motivate and performance manage a design team which provides temporary works solutions across the Company for the tendering and construction phases. As well as providing technical leadership your tasks will include carrying out staff training and appraisals, inputting to tenders and delivering temporary works briefings to new sites. Implementing company policy across the region will be a key priority.

The role calls for substantial managerial/technical experience gained with a Main Contractor/Large Scale Developer. This will be supported by a degree and membership of a relevant professional body.
