My client is a leading multi-discipline Construction Consultancy and they require an experienced CAD technician working in the structural engineering field to join their Central Office and enhance their expertise.

Duties: include the production of AutoCAD structural drawings and details in all common materials; steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.

Qualifications
HNC / HND or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering

Personal Qualities:

You will be comfortable with working in an office as a member of a team, and able to communicate well with colleagues, clients and other professionals.

Experience of dealing with clients or contractors and their queries would be an advantage

You will need to be competent in AutoCAD, with experience of production of structural engineering drawings and details, and well developed IT skills.

Experience in structural steelwork is essential and in reinforced concrete would be an advantage.

Additional experience which would be of use is the drawing and detailing of roads and drainage associated with Civil Engineering projects.
