Senior Architectural Technician based in London

They are currently recruiting for a Senior Architectural Technician to join their London based office and who can add to their wealth of knowledge
The successful candidate will have to work closely with Architects / designer in developing their concepts by preparing drawings, working drawings, involved in tender process and liaise with clients and contractors.
They will also have to prepare architectural drawings, showing internal and external layout of building. Analyze Designers concept, or interpret clients brief and prepare preliminary / detailed instruction for client approval.
Prepare working drawings, to include plans, elevations, sections, materials and finishes as well as other aspects such as layout, plumbing, drainage and ancillary spaces.
Advise on costing, different use and cost of materials, methods of construction and project duration and assist in preparation of contract documentation, tender procedure to suit each client’s needs / budgets.
They must also represent / assist Architect on site to ensure plans and specifications are followed, liaise with Local British Government depts. and examine drawings, building regulations in the course of undertaking project documentation.
Senior Technician must have 4 years or more experience. Be extremely capable at leading projects. Have a sound knowledge of British Building and Planning Regulations and be CAD proficient mainly for preparation of drawings / documentation. |
