The client is a progressive and innovative Construction/Engineering Contracting company based in and around London. Our aim is to provide a personal and meticulous service, always.

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to work at our Head Office and be site based. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years experience with a Main Contractor and be enthusiastic and ambitious. A competitive salary and package will be offered, dependant on qualifications and experience

Responsibilities:

• Full range of Quality Surveyor's duties
• Financial Management of projects:

• Management of Subcontracts, including procurement and administration
• Progress Claims
• Final Account preparation, negotiation and agreement
• Internal financial reporting to Senior Management
• Other specific reports when required
• Liaising with Project Management team, consultants, clients and third parties
• Working as a team player within a project team

Qualifications:

• A third level Diploma / Degree in Construction Economics or Management, and other construction related qualifications
• Good communication skills, strong negotiation and excellent interpersonal skills are required
• Sound construction knowledge and an ability to think laterally is desirable
• Must be a team player and willing to learn and develop in a fast paced environment
