Our client has been developing and maintaining the UK’s infrastructure for over 60 years. They work on a number of disciplines in civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, construction, information technology and general arrangement. Due to expansion they are now recruiting for a Civil/ Structural Design Engineer to join their team in London.

As a Civil/ Structural Design Engineer your responsibilities will predominantly lie in projects upgrading the railway infrastructure. It is highly important that you have experience managing projects from tender stage through to detailed design. It would be beneficial that you have knowledge of foundation design and associated site investigation as well as previous experience in the rail sector.

The projects you will undertake are of very high volume and the requirements constantly change. Due to this it is highly important that you have project management skills.

As a Civil/ Structural Design Engineer you will be supported by a small team of graduate engineers and technicians.

Our client is interested in meeting with people that are chartered or near chartered civil/ structural engineer with rail experience. However if you have a strong background in civil/ structural engineering without experience in the rail sector and have the skills to take on board and grow the business further, you may still be considered.
