Design Manager/ Design Coordinator, Hertfordshire/ London, circa 60K

Design Manager/ Head of Design required for one of the UK’s leading construction company’s. Our client offers a range of construction services from internal fit-out to major building refurbishments. Due to their continued success they are now recruiting for a Design Manager to join their team in Hertfordshire.

As a Design Manager for this company you will manage a team of 16 and report to the Technical Director. Your main objectives will be:

• To provide detailed design information for the construction team. This will enable projects to be completed within budget, programme and specification requirements.
• To lead the design process and collation of design information.
• To obtain quotes from consultants, sub-contractors and other relevant parties.
• To ensure good relationships are maintained with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• To Pro-actively research and advise upon all construction processes.

These are just a few of the responsibilities that you will take on board as the Design Manager.

It is important that you have a stable background within the design industry with experience of team management. You must have experience a Design manager. Our client is looking for people that can achieve all tasks set for them, are success driven with ambition to progress within their career.
