Description

Logistics Capacity Planner - Cork.

You will join a department responsible for the planning, procurement and distribution of all of  products, as well as selected Third Party Accessories, across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA).
 
This role requires an individual with excellent analytical and communication skills, a self starter who can analyse and comprehend complex data and who can organise and lead projects in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Key interface between Planning & Logistics Departments on all issues.
• Key interface between EMEIA Planning and World Wide (WW) Planning team with regards to Strategic Forecasts, Growth Trends etc.
• Disseminate the WW Strategic Forecasts into EMEIA focussed, Long Term Forecasts.
• Ensure Logistics Long Term Capacity Plans (DC Capacity, Inbound & Outbound Freight Lift Capacity) are developed to accommodate the Long Term Forecast.
• Engage with the planning teams to ensure that the weekly forecast issued to Logistics is accurate and on time.
• Understand all aspects of the Planning processes and drive change / improvement where required to improve accuracy.
• Develop KPI reporting, including Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Attainment and Product, Country & Customer trends.
 
 
Experience and Education Required:
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain or Computing
• At least 3 years' experience working as a business analyst.
• Programming skills
 
Desired:
• Experience in an Operations / Supply Chain environment, ideally within Planning or Logistics
• Experience implementing business process improvements
• In-depth knowledge of MS Excel is crucial.
• Business Objects and/or SAP

• Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills 
• A technical person with the ability to quickly understand business processes and business drivers.  
• Able to work cross-functionally across all departments. 
• Ability to interface with other technical groups.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, perform effectively under dynamic conditions such as directional changes, tight deadlines, limited resources etc.
• Flexibility is required. Must be able to work as required to fulfill business needs.
• Process and Systems oriented
