Project Architect (London)

One of the UK's top 5 Architectural practices are currently searching for a Project Architect to join their London based team.

This award-winning architecture, design and project management practice is a large-size set up responsible for some of the most remarkable developments across the country including retail, commercial, leisure, workplace, residential and mixed-use. The busy team also contributed to the current look of the Dublin Airport.

This large-size architectural and project management firm has just recently acquired Northern Ireland’s leading architecture and design offices to form an even more formidable operation headquartered in Dublin with design studios all over Ireland, NI and UK and clients and projects all across Europe.

To compliment its London Design team, the client is currently in need of an experienced Project Architect to take on a leading role within the UK market and manage developments from inception to onsite completion to the highest standards of quality and finish.

You will be responsible for management of projects from inception through to completion and will be fully in charge of contractor management as well as for liaison with consultants and project teams. You will take the responsibility for management of day-to-day project activities and assignment of tasks and responsibilities to other team members.

The successful candidate will be required to run a wide portfolio of projects from conception to completion including commercial, mixed-use and large scale educational developments and manage a team of Architects and Technicians. They will be reporting directly to the Associate Senior Architect/Team Leader. Career progression onto Associate level guaranteed if successful. This role is with immediate start and therefore candidates interested in contract employment will also be considered.

This is a pivotal role within the London office and you will be full charge of UK/London operations and reporting directly to the Dublin Head Office.


Our client had requested that all the applicants for this role will fulfill ALL of the following criteria:

• PART III qualification
• A MINIMUM of 5 years PQE with an architectural practice in UK or Ireland (foreign applicants with no UK/Irish experience will unfortunately not be considered for this role)
• Excellent team leading and people management skills
• Solid exposure to large-scale projects
• Proven track portfolio of various projects participated on
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
